Olof Broström

Artist based in Lund, Sweden. Works across abstract painting, generative and machine-made drawing, sculpture, and experimental material systems.

Recent work includes self-built drawing machines that translate wind, motion, and mechanical repetition into topographic images — a way of making pictures that removes the artist's hand from the line while keeping the process fully visible.

Much of the material comes from testing and reuse: recycled plastics, offcuts, and improvised tools recur across the works, treated less as raw material than as collaborators in the process.
