Individual Works brings together pieces that can stand on their own, even when they carry traces of something larger behind them. Some began as early studies for bodies of work that later developed in other directions. Others remained outside those structures, not because they were unfinished, but because they already felt complete as they were. I think of this section as a place for works that do not need a series in order to hold. They may still point toward wider processes, earlier attempts, or forms that continued elsewhere, but each one arrives with its own presence. In that sense, these works sit slightly apart while still belonging to the same larger field.
