Cornelis Jonson painted ‘Portrait of a Woman, possibly Elizabeth Boothby’ in 1619. Oil on wood. The sitter is unidentified, and the attribution to Elizabeth Boothby is uncertain.

The portrait measures 74.3 x 61 cm. The painting is on a wood panel, a common support for Jonson’s early works.

Jonson was active in England from at least 1618 to 1643. He moved to the Netherlands during the English Civil War.
