Portrait of a Woman

Bronzino’s Portrait of a Woman was painted around c. 1550. Oil on wood, not canvas. Its dimensions are unlisted. Currently housed in the Cleveland Museum of Art.

The painting is attributed to Agnolo Bronzino, a prominent Mannerist painter. He was known for his detailed portraiture, often capturing members of the Medici family.

Bronzino spent his entire life in Florence. He served as the court painter to Cosimo I de’ Medici, focusing on portraits and religious themes.
